Sold me a broken air con unit, offered to refund This was his response when I told him that it was broken “ I not sure if you are aware of this but it’s a hit or miss when you buy second hand items on Carousell. Maybe you should have just gotten a brand new one from a store instead. Anyway, you can text me your number and I will refund your $200”

I need to first point out the fact that it was conveniently left out in his review that the unit was handed over to him on 29th Nov and I was notified that it stopped working on 11 Dec. (Unit was working during the 12 days). I gave him the benefit of doubt about how the unit was used under his care and offered him a full refund out of good will.Summary buyer took the risk for a cheap 2nd hand unit and it didn’t work out. Buyer needs to align his expectations else he should just get a new unit.
