Made an offer and then backed out. Does not trust sellers easily even though they are trying to help by offering added service to close a deal. Very secretive. Only willing to meet in open public spaces.

Buyer was told that I was overseas on vacation. (Its December! ) Offered buyer to collect shoes from his helper at his residence and gave his own mobile number due to difficulties communicating while overseas and also seller was mostly unresponsive. Based on local news, scams on this app are from FAKE BUYERS. My chat logs can be checked to see what the truth is. Shoes sold to a genuine buyer.

Seller accepts offer despite not being able to meet in Singapore. Seller leaves a review after agreeing to cancel. Seller ignores Carousell guidelines by asking to meet in a non-public place and asking to deal outside Carousell. Buyers, please beware of deals that are too good to be true. There are a lot of scams going on. Please stay safe.
