Books was supposed to be “like new” but I’ve never bought a new book before that had a sellotaped cover, a person’s name in biro on the front cover, writing inside covered in white correctional fluid, and stains or discolouring on each page.

“Like new” means “Used once or twice. As good as new,” according to Carousell. The book clearly doesn’t fall under this category. I collect books myself and chose this seller based on the “like new” description. Sellotape has been removed - it wasn’t easy and took some of the page with it. Seller failed to reply to stains throughout pages and correctional fluid used to hide writing inside in pen?

Hello, the cello tape cover can be easily removed and the written name was already displayed in the listing post. Please do check properly before purchasing.
