Seller was clearly aware of the poor condition of her gaiters. I was distracted during the deal by her talk of mountain hiking. Forgot to check the condition of the gaiters. The belt to secure it has melted and the rubber plastic has all cracked when I opened the goods at home. Asked for a refund friendly and she didn’t respond. She login online recently to carousell, had chosen to ignore this :(

The items were good as they were in the photo. The buyer came for a fast deal (lower price), and it was settled within hours. They had been sealed in a bag since it was posted, and I had no time to check them before the deal (something I have overlooked). As for 'a distraction', I always talk to those embarking on hiking expeditions. I had no intention to cover/ had any idea that it was faulty. I cannot refund as the exchange had been made, with both parties agreeing to it at that point in time.
