The bookshelf was listed as being “in great condition”. Several parts of the wood show stains, discoloration, and areas where the surface is starting to come apart. In addition, there are scratches and an uneven finish that clearly show signs of heavy use. When I raised my concerns, I received the reply: “It is indeed in great condition and no scratches.” Fast transaction, but disappointing.

Absolutely cheapo alert 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 Tried to haggle over a half-price solid teak bookshelf - maybe just stick to paying full price. Thrifting isn't for you. "surface starting to come apart" ??? LOL this piece of wood will outlive you.
