Half an hour before making the deal he texted me saying he has " forgotten " to tell me that the cd plate "sometimes " opens. When we met up he showed me that when that happens with a simple fast close was ok. At the present, the cd plate opens ALL the time. So, he lied to me. It was not something that " sometimes" happens. It's obvious that he knew it. He should have told me this, in order to fix the price ( considering the repair part)

Heyy man. If you want you can do this. Disable the drive in device manager, this stops the drive from being detected by the computer, it won't spin, so it won't open. Then you go buy an external cd drive if you need one. It should not cost more than $10 on carousel. There's one going for $10, I just checked, possibly even cheaper. I am willing to pay for the cost of the ext drive if you are willing to do this. Keep me informed first. Thanks.
