the person replied a week after the date he promised to confirm, and somehow was upset that the product has been sold out and thought that it was reserved for him indefinitely.

The seller went ahead to sell even after reservation was made, I admit I missed out on confirming the reservation, but how petty do you need to be as a seller to pay a review to a buyer, who never bought anything at all, and in the end there was zero change or effect or goods old. Usually when you make and accept an offer, it means that both parties are serious about the transaction. I only mentioned that I would have expected seller to mention at least once before auto cancelling on me.
