Man with integrity. I bought the LCD-2 from him but kept hearing a crackling noise after a week's usage. He came over to exchange the unit but the substitute LCD-2 also exhibited crackling noise on the same tracks on my Fiio R9. He readily offered to refund me. Pity it did not work because the LCD-2 sounded awesome (apart from this static/crackling issue on certain portions or certain songs).

Update: I am sure that there are no issues with the LCD-2s brought down for me to try. I say this because a few days ago i took delivery of a new Hifiman Edition XS and heard the same crackling noise when used with the Fiio R9. It is almost surely because of the EQ settings of the Fiio R9 i had set, as when I changed the EQ settings or played music with no EQ, i did not hear the crackling.

Just to ensure readers get the correct perspectives, we tested the headphone which exhibited some "statics" with Buyer Fiio media player with 2 different Burson Audio HA-160DS headphone amplifiers with a few soundtracks after the "statics" claim and there is no "statics" of the same headphone even when we turn Burson amplifier to FULL volume. Thus, it may not be the headphone unit and we had advised the Buyer to check his Fiio media player. Welcome to do full apple to apple testing for sure!
