Could totally understand Buyer concern if there are any scam happening and try to be careful but it’s confusing that he/she not willing to do the payment on Carosell platform for protection and refuse to do deposits for reservation . Sorry for even trust doesn’t work like this
This scammer really gave it his all—demanded a 50% deposit out of nowhere after I reserved the item because he’s “overseas.” First, his PayNow was “broken” and he pushed for a bank transfer. The moment I refused, boom—PayNow miraculously resurrected like it had divine intervention. Then, when I asked if I could pay a lower deposit, boom again—he deleted the listing, reposted it, and now suddenly he is the “victim.” Glad I was not a character in his scam story! Beware of this scammer!
