I offered a price lower than what was stated because I thought that, as buyers, we could bargain about the price but when I decided not to buy, he gave negative feedback promptly on my wall without chance for clarification. I am still new to Carousell so I was not sure how deals were made. The seller was rude and petty.

I merely stated the fact of what happened. And I quote myself here: "Made an offer but did not buy in the end." Logically, how am I supposed to know that you are just starting to use Carousell? When you made an offer to buy and I accept that offer...it is clearly a done deal so there is nothing wrong with my feedback.
