It was a cut label dress at a higher price that is being sold currently in one of the stores here. My offer was at retail price which I discovered by chance when I came across the same item in store. Why would anyone want a second hand item when the offer (NOT lowballed) is the same price for new? There was no preparation required - it’s was a dress for crying out loud. Buyer can change their mind - it’s perfectly acceptable. Especially when they feel like it’s a mistake to go ahead.
