Parker Vacumatic fountain pen features a rare SMOOTH FLEX nib and a rare RETICULATED VISOMETER barrel. See writing sample and photo of barrel pattern design. To find both those things in the one pen is very rare. Due to non use for some time the diaphragm needs replaced which can be done in Sham Shui Po or by my contact in the UK for a fair cost.

Rare semi flex expressive nib as most vacumatics have firm rigid nibs. Superb barrel clarity. Due to non use over years the diaphragm needs replacing. This can be done in Sham Shui Po or I have contacts abroad who can do it at a fair price. The price reflects the pen's condition and model and nib type.

This is a first generation Vacumatic with an early lock down filling system, which is functional. The medium nib, which is ‘two-tone’, writes exceptionally smoothly, making it a great daily writer or collectible piece. Please note that the gold filled clip and trim show some brassing (see photos). But the pen overall remains in excellent condition. First generation Vacumatic is hard to come by.
